The Harwich Haven: Surrender & Sanctuary Project is pleased to offer FREE training at the National Archives during July and August for individuals to develop their research skills.
Spaces are available on 13th July, 27th July and the 24th August to attend these exciting sessions to learn from archive specialist about their collection and how to get the most out of sources, plus a chance to see into the National Archives and behind the scenes.
Not only are the training days free, but travel expenses can be covered as well (maximum return distance from Harwich to National Archives in Kew, Surrey). This is a unique opportunity is open to anyone interested in their local heritage, or students wishing to develop their archival skills.
