On Saturday 19th October the Food Wars exhibition will be heading to the Cider & Song Festival at the Museum of East Anglian life in Stowmarket, as its final touring destination for 2019.
So far the tour has attended various events and festivals over Suffolk and Essex over the summer, and the accompanying Eastern Angles Oh, What a Lovely Food War music hall performance has been seen by over 1800 people! This includes special performances taken into Schools and Car Homes across the region, offering a unique engagement opportunity and chance for reminiscence sessions and conversation.
During the day at the Cider & Song Festival our British Submariner Nigel will be back to regale visitors with sea shanties and songs, plus our exhibition and handling objects from World War One on rationing and the submarine threat are available to see up close on last time.
Plus the exhibition trailer will be used as a stage during the day as part of the festival by new performers and musicians. Why not come along and see us and enjoy a Cider or two!
