Starting on November 11th 2018 with a WW1 walk and film show in the afternoon, we will be holding and hosting a series of events relating to the upcoming 100th anniversary of the surrender of the German U-Boats and the 80th anniversary of the arrival of the first Kindertransport from Europe.
Over the weekends of the 17th and 18th, 24th and 25th of November and the 1st and 2nd of December there will be walks, talks, exhibitions and workshops to commemorate these two important anniversaries around Harwich and Dovercourt (and possibly a few in Shotley and Felixstowe).
